Quiram Scores HOT Win

 

ELM MOTT—Martin Quiram from Hubbard picked up another feature win in the cruiser race Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway.  Barry Gaston finished second and Mike and Michael Van Cleave followed in third.

 

Belton driver Charles Cosper earned the win in the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature with Andy Roller from Waco in second and Shannon Dulock from Axtell in third.

 

David Andrews  advanced to first place in the street stock feature after the winning car weighed light in a post race check.  Jeff Shepperd and Wade White moved to second and third.

 

Keith White from Academy added some clout to his National I.M.C.A. points chase with another win in the SportMod feature.  David Stewart from Bruceville had an impressive second place finish in his second race of the year.  T.J. Green from Robinson took the third place spot.

 

Jason Honey from Waco, along with Tommy Kirkpatrick and Doug Andrews from Elm Mott were the top three street stock feature finishers.

 

P.J. Egbert from Copperas Cove led Andrew Simmerman from Evant and Chase Jupe from West to the finish line in the I.M.C.A. modified feature.

 

Dillon Payne from Hillsboro added another feature win to his season record with Corbin Suggs from West and Alex Norris from Elm Mott rounding out the top three in the class.

 

Brazos mini sprint winners were Andy Hogan in the Outlaw class, Chipper Wood in the Stock class, and Jacob Gilliam in the Restrictor class.

 

The Texas Winged Modifieds will share next Friday’s program with the I.M.C.A. modifieds, I.M.C.A. SportMods, I.M.C.A. hobby stocks, street stocks, pure stocks, cruisers, and junior mini stocks.  Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and racing begins at 8:00 P.M.  Check www.heartotexspeedway.com for more information.
